New here, just arrived from China, looking to learn about Korean beauty.

Hey everyone! I'm Lin, from Beijing. I just discovered this community recently and the vibe here is really amazing, so I wanted to introduce myself.

To be honest, I've always been interested in Korean beauty products and medical aesthetics, but I used to mainly browse Xiaohongshu and the information felt pretty scattered. A few friends have been talking lately about going to Seoul for some skin treatments, so I started really diving into this topic. I have combination oily skin, and acne scars and enlarged pores are my main concerns, so I'm really keen to learn more about how Korean professional skincare methods work.

I've heard that Korea's medical aesthetics culture is quite different from what we have back home—a lot of people regularly do some basic maintenance treatments. That said, I don't have any concrete plans yet. I'm mostly hoping to hear from all of you about your experiences and see if there are any good options out there that offer great value.
