Hi everyone! I'm Shanshan, from Taiwan. I'm planning a trip to Seoul for some cosmetic and skincare treatments, but to be honest, I'm not very familiar with the area. I know Gangnam and Apgujeong are popular beauty spots, but I'd like to hear your honest opinions—are there really that many clinics there? What are they like?
I mainly want to try out some treatments and also take the opportunity to explore. Has anyone stayed in those areas? Where did you all stay? Is transportation convenient? I'm torn between staying near Gangnam for convenience or staying elsewhere and taking the subway. I've heard Seoul's subway system is very developed, but I still want to ask experienced people first!
Also, if you have any other recommendations, please let me know! I'm also interested in the surrounding environment; I'm looking for a place that's convenient for medical appointments and also relaxing. Thank you for your suggestions! 💕

Hi Xiangshan! I'm also Taiwanese. I went to Seoul last year for a beauty treatment ✨ The area around Kangnam subway station is really convenient, with many clinics clustered there, and the subway network is extensive. You don't necessarily have to stay in Kangnam; I stayed in the Jongno area, which was actually cheaper, and it was only two or three subway stops away. Distance isn't an issue at all in Seoul! Have a great trip! 💕
Hey Shanshan! I totally get the overwhelm—I felt the same way planning my first trip to Seoul for treatments! The subway system is actually really intuitive once you get the hang of it, so staying slightly outside the main areas might save you money while keeping you close to everything. My advice would be to pick an area with good subway access rather than stressing about being right in the middle of it all, since you can literally get anywhere in like 20-30 minutes. Hope you find some great spots and have an amazing trip! 💕
I'm interested! I wanted to ask if the soaking session was for skincare purposes or if it was a decision you'd already made about what you want to do? Because I'm planning to go to Seoul too, but I don't know where to start. 😊
Hello! I'm also planning a similar trip to Seoul, so I totally understand how you feel 😊 I've heard the subway is really convenient, and I'm also struggling to decide which area to stay in. Your ideas seem very practical! Looking forward to everyone's suggestions, let's all cheer each other on!
Hey, Chapter Girl! I wanted to ask how many days you plan to stay this time? Because I'll need to spend some time visiting and recuperating as well. 😊
