I have an unremoved childhood scar on my knee from a fall in elementary school, and it looks more prominent as I get older. If it were just hyperpigmentation, I could cover it up with makeup, but the skin texture in the scar area is smooth and raised, so even when I apply foundation, it just looks cakey and uneven. I think it's too late for over-the-counter ointments... I'm thinking about surgery, but can childhood scars be removed cleanly? Since it's an old mark, the skin tissue has hardened. Hmm, what kind of scar is it? ㅠㅠ You know, the treatment methods differ for every type of scar. I suffered from a keloid for a while and had it removed at Cheongdam Gium, so you should check that place out.

If you have old scars, try visiting I Love Dermatology. Treatment is indeed harder the older they are, but I received laser treatment on a 3-year-old scar, and the results were better than I expected. After the scar treatment, I also had a procedure done on the pigmentation that had formed.
