Hiii everyone! I'm Oanh from Vietnam, and I'm super hyped because I'll be visiting Seoul next week! 😆 I've always heard my friends rave about K-beauty there but have never experienced it myself, so this time I want to "live it up" a bit, haha.
My skin is a bit sensitive right now and tends to break out in the summer. I'm looking to try some high-quality skincare products, maybe samples or full-sized purchases. Do you ladies/gents have any recommendations on how to figure out which products are suitable for my skin? Or has anyone tried any skincare or cleansing experiences, that sort of thing?
Also, I'm curious about popular spots in Seoul for beauty/wellness. I'm not sure where to look or how to ask to find reputable places. Does anyone have any experiences they can share? My budget is pretty average, so I'll be considering things carefully before deciding 😅 Thanks so much, everyone!

Hi Oanh! I'm also curious if you'll find skincare that suits your skin, as yours is sensitive to chemicals and you also get acne in the summer. Have you tried Korean products before, or is this your first time trying them in Seoul?
That's amazing! I have the same issues with sun sensitivity and acne as you do 😅 Now I'm curious, have you tried K-beauty products before, or is this your first time? Because I'm worried about buying the wrong product.
Reading your story made me so excited too! I'm also a foreigner visiting for K-beauty for the first time, just like you 😄 I recommend just walking around and exploring on your own to see what you like. The staff there are really kind, so feel free to ask for advice about your specific concerns.
Haha, I totally get how you feel! When I first went to Seoul, I was also super excited to try K-beauty, but I actually found that it's more reliable to try products slowly and browse beauty stores for consultations. Everyone's skin is really different. You can start by visiting some large beauty shopping areas, where the staff usually let you try out products, which helps you find things that are better suited for sensitive skin 😊
