I visited two dermatology clinics near my home over the past few months to try and take better care of my skin, so Iโd like to share my honest reviews.
The first place I went to was said to be quite famous in the neighborhood, so I went with high expectations, but even with an appointment, I had to wait over 40 minutes. Also, the treatment room environment was a bit disappointing; the beds were separated only by a single curtain, so I could hear the consultations and treatment sounds of other patients right next to me. I tried to ignore it at first, but it bothered me throughout the entire procedure, making it difficult to concentrate. Perhaps because there were so many people waiting, the consultation also felt rushed, ending before I could even fully explain my skin concerns.
The second place I visited was a dermatology clinic in Sinjung-dong, and the atmosphere there was completely different. Since the treatment rooms were private single rooms, I could definitely feel the difference the moment I walked in. I didn't have to worry about hearing other people's voices nearby, and being able to quietly focus solely on the treatment was incredibly comfortable. It was only after comparing them firsthand that I realized just how important these kinds of details are when choosing a dermatology clinic.
The consultation was also impressive. They carefully examined my skin condition and patiently explained what the issues were and how I should manage them. I felt completely at ease talking to them because they didn't feel like they were pressuring me to rush a decision or push any procedures. I also liked that they had a variety of lifting devices available, allowing me to choose the one best suited to my skin condition.
After comparing the two places, I felt the difference in the treatment environment and consultation style was much greater than I expected, rather than just the price. If you are considering which dermatology clinic to visit, I highly recommend checking these aspects as well, rather than just looking at the price.
