Hi everyone! I'm Peiyun from Taiwan. I'm planning a short beauty trip to Seoul this year, but honestly, I'm a bit undecided about where to stay. I've heard a lot of people say that Gangnam and Apgujeong have a lot of beauty clinics, but I'm not sure if it's really necessary to stay there for convenience.
I'd like to ask you all, if you're going to Seoul for treatments, do you usually choose to stay near Gangnam? Or are other areas convenient too? I'm worried about transportation and the density of clinics. Also, I'd like to know if anyone has any recommendations for accommodation areas that are convenient for medical appointments but not too expensive (I'm on a budget, haha).
If anyone is also traveling from overseas like me, I'd love to hear your experiences and advice! Thank you!

Hi Fei Yun! I'm thinking the same thing, I want to go to Seoul this year too haha. From what I've read on the forums, it doesn't have to be Gangnam — Seoul's transportation is pretty good, so it's still easy to get there from other areas. Maybe we can find a more affordable area that's still close to the station? It's nice to meet other people who are also planning a beauty trip, hopefully we can get some good info from those who have been there!
I understand how you feel, Peiwen! My friend from Taiwan asked me the same question 😅 Qiangnan certainly seems convenient, but actually, it seems you can get there from other areas by taking the subway a few stops away. My friend stayed in a different area because of budget constraints, but I think you don't need to worry too much because Jiaotong is really convenient. I think you can choose based on your own budget and preferences, Peiwen!
Hi Fei Yun! When I went to Seoul last year, I stayed in an area a bit far from Gangnam and honestly, the transportation was still okay—the trains are really fast there, so no need to worry. But it's definitely more relaxing to be a bit closer because you can walk or take a cheap taxi, especially if you're tired after a treatment. Budget-wise, maybe try checking out the area around Jung-gu or other areas that are still accessible, because Gangnam is a bit pricey for accommodations. Hope your trip goes smoothly! 😊
