Seeking recommendations! Going to Seoul for makeup. Which area would you choose?

Hello! My name is Kwan, and I'm from Thailand. I'm planning a trip to Seoul to try out some facial treatments. However, I'm still unsure about which area to choose and where to stay to be convenient for shopping, cafes, and transportation.

I've noticed that most people talk a lot about areas like Gangnam and Apgujeong. It seems like there are many beautiful shops there, right? But what do you think, is it safe for a foreign woman to walk around alone? And how much would accommodation prices increase if I stayed in the city center?

Has anyone been to other areas and liked them more? Or is it better to stay in Gangnam? I'd love your recommendations. Also, I'm curious about where you stayed during your trips. 🙏
