Hey everyone! I'm flying to Seoul in a few weeks and I'm so excited to finally experience the K-beauty scene in person. I've been using Korean skincare products for years now, but I want to actually visit some places and maybe get some treatments done while I'm there.
I'm thinking about getting a facial or maybe a consultation somewhere, but honestly I'm not totally sure what's realistic to do in a short trip or what areas are best for this stuff. Has anyone been and found good neighborhoods or experiences that were actually worth it? I'm really curious about the whole vibe of it — like, are people generally friendly to foreigners? Is it easy to navigate?
Also, if anyone has tried specific types of treatments while visiting (nothing invasive, maybe just skincare-focused), I'd love to hear what your experience was like. I want to go in with realistic expectations and not just hype. Budget-wise I'm flexible but not trying to spend crazy money either, so if anyone has a sense of what's reasonable to expect cost-wise, that would help me plan!
Thanks in advance — I'm nervous but also really pumped about this! 😊

I totally get that feeling! I was so excited when I went to Seoul last year too 😊 Honestly, for a short trip, I think you'll have fewer regrets if you focus on one or two treatments tailored to your specific skin concerns, rather than trying to cram too much in. Also, if you ask locals, even the same procedure can feel quite different depending on the clinic, so it's a good idea to check out real reviews on social media beforehand! Good luck 🙌
