Hi everyone! I'm Ying, from Beijing. I just discovered this community and think the atmosphere is fantastic, so I decided to join and chat with everyone.
Actually, my interest in K-beauty and skincare started last year. Back then, I watched some posts on Xiaohongshu and Douyin and found that Korean skincare philosophies and products are quite different from ours. I especially love their layered skincare routines; they seem very meticulous. Later, more and more friends started paying attention to this, and we researched it together for a while.
This year, I finally saved enough money to go to Seoul to see it for myself and try it out. But to be honest, I'm a little lost right now. I don't know which skincare areas to focus on, and I'm not sure how to choose reliable places. I hope to learn from everyone in this community and I look forward to exchanging experiences with you all! Any suggestions or experience sharing would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome, Ing! I also went to Seoul last year and had a fantastic time. When it comes to skincare routines, I think the most important thing is to first understand your own skin type. You can get lots of samples, so it's a good idea to try out different products before buying 😊 This community is full of really kind people, so I'm sure you'll get some great advice!
