I'm planning a trip to Seoul to try out beauty services, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by the information :)) I've heard that areas like Gangnam, Apgujeong, and Myeongdong have many beauty salons, but I don't know where to stay that's both convenient and affordable. Do you have any experience in these areas? Which one is the safest and most convenient to stay in?
I also want to ask which area is best for first-time visitors? I've heard a lot of ads for Gangnam, but I'm not sure if it's really that good or if I'm having unrealistic expectations. Apgujeong sounds very fancy, but will the prices be double?
Also, regarding accommodation, what do you usually choose? Hotels, Airbnb, or apartments for rent? I want to stay near areas with many beauty options but don't want to spend too much. Can anyone share their experiences? Thanks a lot 🙏

When I first went, I stayed closer to the Nature Train Station because it was more convenient to walk to many places and the prices were more reasonable 😊 The popular areas are really good, but be prepared for them to be quite open and crowded. Try looking around the area as well!
I also went to Seoul for the first time last year and found Gangnam a bit busier and more expensive than expected, but Myeongdong is closer to the city center so it was more convenient for me! I rented an Airbnb there and the price was reasonable. You can check reviews carefully to find a safe place 😊
I understand, there's so much information it's overwhelming! I felt the same way at first. Each area has its own unique characteristics, so I think it's best to choose based on your own priorities (accessibility, budget, atmosphere). It seems like many people combine Airbnb and hostels for accommodation.
