Hi, I'm Kaori. I'm so excited because I finally got my long-awaited Seoul trip scheduled! 😍
To be honest, I don't really understand the K-beauty world just from being in Japan, so I want to try out a bunch of different things in person while I'm there. Of course I'll be buying skincare products, but I'm also really interested in actually getting treatments done locally and experiencing things firsthand. The thing is, I have no idea where to even start…
Has anyone here been to Seoul before? Are there any beauty areas worth checking out, or skincare experiences that are worth trying? I'm also curious if there are beginner-friendly courses or programs available. If you could give me a rough idea of the budget involved, that would be amazing. If you have any advice at all, please let me know!

Wow, your first trip to Seoul! I was just as excited when I went for the first time 😄 My suggestion is to take the subway to stations that have lots of little serums and skincare shops. You can actually try out different products there first, then move on to the bigger clinics for actual treatments. It's just my personal experience, but it saves time and helps you figure out what works best for you!
Oh my gosh, this sounds so fun! I'm actually thinking about doing something similar on my next trip, so I'm gonna be following this thread hard. I love that you want to try treatments in person — I've heard so many people say the experience itself is part of the whole Seoul beauty thing, you know?
Haha, I went from Japan too! I'd suggest checking out Myeongdong or Gangnam first to get a feel for the area — there are tons of beauty shops where you can test out products, and the staff is really friendly. If you want to try skincare treatments, I'd recommend starting with basic facials. A lot of places have packages specifically for tourists that shouldn't be too pricey, though I'm not entirely sure about the exact prices 😅
Ah Kaori, I really want to try skin treatment directly in Seoul too! Hopefully we can share our experiences later, because I'm also still confused about where to start hehe 😅
