I used to use daily lenses, but the cost became unbearable, so I switched to monthly ones. However, managing them is such a hassle. Every evening, I take them out, wipe them on my palm with saline solution, and then put them in the case. I'm wondering if this is the correct way to store lenses...
Maybe I have clumsy hands, but I don't feel like the lenses are getting clean. Since I leave them in the solution before the protein is fully removed, my eyes feel dry and tiny blood vessels burst by the afternoon of the next day. On top of that, I've even torn a lens once while rubbing it with my hands when half-asleep, so now I'm afraid to even touch them.
I saw on mom cafes that many people are switching their lens storage method these days to putting them in a machine that cleans them automatically instead of rubbing them with their hands. Is it really cleaner than hand washing? I heard the machine removes contaminants with micro-vibrations. I'm curious if it really is a whole new world where there are no scratches and my eyes feel comfortable when I put them in the morning.

Since they touch my eyes directly, proper lens storage is probably the most important thing... I'm worried that if I just buy the machine on impulse, I might end up shoving it in a corner. I'm still debating it. If anyone who has used the cleaner has definitely seen an improvement in comfort, please share a genuine review! Haha.

I also wipe them by hand and put them in every day, but storing lenses is actually quite stressful.
They say that if you just wipe them roughly by hand and store them, protein buildup will ruin your eyes. It's a surefire way to shorten the lifespan of your lenses, so a cleaning machine is essential.
You're right. I'm exhausted after work, so who has time to mix things up? Haha. I actually got a dishwasher and found enlightenment.
Oh, what kind of lens washer do you use? I also find it such a hassle to store lenses every time.
I got a recommendation at a cafe and I'm using the Daycare lens cleaner, and it's seriously a game changer.. You just put them in and it cleans them automatically haha.
Oh, I was wondering how to store lenses, so thank you for the cleaner information!

I was also worried about wiping and storing lenses by hand every time, but I've learned a great tip for lens storage!
