Hi everyone! I'm Linh, and I'm going to Seoul for the first time next month, and I'm so excited! 😄 I've watched so many videos about K-beauty and aesthetic treatments there, but I'm still a little confused about what to try first.
Could you help me out? I want to try some skincare or beauty services, but I need advice from people who have tried them before. Which areas have the most clinics/spas to explore? I'm considering getting a facial or other treatments, but I'm not sure where to start.
Regarding skincare products, I've heard there are many great things in the stores there, but I don't know what to buy that's suitable for my skin. My skin is combination and prone to acne, so does anyone have any suggestions for products they love?
Thank you so much in advance! I'm really looking forward to your feedback 🥰

Oh, I'm planning to go to Seoul soon too! Glad to see others are into the same thing 😄 Right now, I still don't know where to start, whether it's skincare or what kind of treatments to try. And I don't know what would suit my skin type (mine is combination and acne-prone). Hopefully, someone can give both you and me some advice!
To Hayashi-san! That's great, it's your first time in Seoul 😊 By the way, you mentioned you have combination skin and are prone to breakouts, so did you do any patch tests before actually buying skincare products there? I have the same type of skin, so I'm curious how you choose products!
Lin, when are you going? I'm going to Seoul this month too, so we understand each other perfectly 😄 If you have combination skin and acne, I'm also very interested in this question, so I'd like to hear your experience!
Hi sis, have you ever tried a K-beauty skincare routine before, or are you starting from scratch in Seoul? Because I have combination acne-prone skin like you, I'd like to know if I should do some research beforehand or get direct advice from professionals to choose more suitable products 😊
Hi Lin! I'm also planning to go to Seoul next month and want to try some treatments, so I'm so happy to read your post! 😄 I'm also confused about where to start, but from what I've read, many people recommend facials first to understand our skin condition better before trying others. Hopefully we can share our experiences later, maybe someone has been there and can give useful tips!
Hi Lin! I'm also looking forward to experiencing skincare next time I go to Seoul, so I understand how excited you are 😄 I've heard that there are a lot of skincare options in Seoul, but I'm still figuring out where to start, so it would be great if someone could share their experience!
First of all, what I want to say is that it is important to choose a skincare product based on your skin type, not someone else's! I have combination skin like you, and I was looking for help a lot. There are many cosmetic districts in Seoul, but it would be better to ask a dermatologist or consultant first.
I'm also going to Seoul for the first time next month and I'm a little worried about the same thing 😅 but I heard the best thing to do is start with a consultation to make sure the products are suitable for your skin, especially since you have specific skin concerns. Many people say Korean cosmetics are amazing, but we should try a few first before buying everything!
To Rin! I also just returned from Seoul last month. First, I recommend getting a skincare consultation there. 😊 You mentioned combination skin plus acne, and I think you'll have fewer product mishaps if you choose items after having your skin assessed in person. I have the same concerns, so I totally get how you feel!
