Are the nasolabial angle and columella important for a man's nose as well?

When women get nose surgery, they really scrutinize the nasolabial angle and the columella, right? My boyfriend is having nose surgery right now, and he's been talking about the nasolabial angle all day long, and I'm getting tired of listening to it... Is a man's nose important too? Hahaha. I just want him to pick a hospital quickly, anywhere, and just get the surgery done as soon as possible.
