In the past, whenever I started worrying about skin elasticity, I assumed Thermage was the absolute answer.
Since everyone around me said it was the most expensive and famous option, I bit the bullet and paid in installments with my credit card to get 600 shots.
But honestly, putting aside the excruciating pain I endured on the treatment table, I hit a wall of disillusionment because the expected results lasted much shorter than I anticipated. ㅠㅠ
Initially, my face seemed to be getting a bit firmer, but seeing it revert back to its old sagging state before even a few months had passed left me feeling truly dispirited. The feeling of despair—thinking, "I paid a fortune and went through all that trouble, but all I'm left with is a hole in my bank account?"—was overwhelming. After that, I erased lifting procedures from my life.
However, recently, I noticed my facial contours visibly sagging. So, while frantically searching for a truly "effective" lifting method other than Thermage, I discovered Sinsa Egg Clinic's Cool Phase. To be honest, I was skeptical at first.
A superior version of Thermage? Is that even possible? I wondered.
But the director's explanation was very logical.
The reason we feel excruciating pain when getting Thermage is because heat is trapped in the skin. However, CoolPhase uses a powerful cooling system to remove that heat in real time, so the skin feels comfortable while still being filled deep with energy at Ulthera-level high output.
"Since it cools down, there is no need to lower the output. That is why the 300 shots of CoolPhase feel much more effective in terms of skin density compared to 600 shots from other companies."
This data really swayed me.
I was a little nervous about the fact that it was done without anesthesia, but surprisingly, it wasn't.
It just felt like getting a massage with warm stones.
The cool cooling and warm energy alternated, and I zoned out a bit before it was over. About a week after the procedure, when I washed my face, I could feel a 'tightness' coming from deep within, not just on the surface.
My pores tightened significantly, and above all, I’d say my overall facial contours looked much smoother than before.
The best part is that I don't have to worry about the duration of the results after paying a hefty price like with Thermage.
I’ve realized that consistently maintaining the results painlessly and at a reasonable cost is the real 'answer to lifting.'
Are there any of you out there who, like me, got an expensive lifting treatment only to feel disillusioned about how long the results lasted?
Don't just endure the pain.
Now that I’ve experienced it myself, I immediately understand why Coolphase is getting such a buzz these days as the 'ultimate lifting solution.'

I'm hesitating because Thermage is expensive, but is CoolPhase really good value for money?
For the cost of one Thermage treatment, you can get CoolPhase treatments much more frequently and thoroughly, so I think this is a much better deal!
Can I resume my daily activities immediately after the procedure?
Absolutely! There was no swelling or redness, so I met up with friends right away, and they all asked why my skin looked so much better haha.
