Hello everyone! I'm Thanh, and this is my first time planning a trip to Seoul to experience beauty services. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong are very famous for having many beauty spots, but I'm not sure where the best place to stay would be. Do any of you have experience? Which area is more convenient for getting around to different places?
I'm curious to know, when your friends go, do they usually stay in hotels or look for apartments for rent? I'm planning to stay for about 5-7 days. If I stay near the Gangnam area, would it be easy to walk or take the bus? I'm a bit worried about translation and transportation.
Also, do you have any suggestions for other areas that are also great? I'm looking for a place that has many beauty amenities, as well as plenty of restaurants and picnic spots. I look forward to hearing your experiences! 😊

Hello! I recently spent a week in Seoul and stayed in the Gangnam area — it was totally worth it because there are so many beauty service spots and transportation is super easy to access via the metro. My tip is to download the Naver Map or Kakao Map app before you go, as they're more helpful than Google Maps there. And don't worry about the language barrier, as many staff members speak English, and translator apps are also quite helpful! 😊
Last time I went to Seoul, I stayed near Gangnam and found it super convenient. Getting around by walking or bus was easy, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby! I think 5-7 days in that area would be just right to explore and comfortably travel between different spots. 😊
I'm here for beauty treatments too, I totally get how you feel! Gangnam Station is super convenient, and you can walk to a lot of places. I think staying there is more comfortable. If you have 5-7 days, that's plenty of time to explore slowly and try out the local food. You really don't need to worry too much.
I completely understand your concerns! I also stayed in Seoul for about a week last year, and Gangnam was indeed very convenient. The subway and buses are well-developed, and it's not far to walk. I suggest staying in that area to make things easier, so you don't have to spend time commuting every day and have more time for experiences.
