Hi, this is Aya! I'm going to Seoul for the first time next month and I'm so excited to try K-beauty there, something I've always dreamed of! 💕
Honestly, I don't know where to start, so what kind of skincare and clinic experiences have you all had? From what I see on Instagram and YouTube, there seem to be all sorts of things like facial treatments and whitening care... Ah, but I'm more interested in relaxing experiences than medical ones.
Of course, I want to try Korean cosmetics, and if I go to a spa or something similar, I'd love some advice on which areas are beginner-friendly, what the atmosphere is like, etc. Is it okay even if I can't communicate perfectly? 😅
If anyone has had a similar experience, please let me know!

Hi Aya! Have a really fun trip to Seoul 😊 From my experience yesterday, don't jump straight into heavy treatments — try starting with local skincare and a relaxing spa for a feel-good experience. Honestly, the language can be a challenge, but the staff at popular spots are used to tourists so don't worry, and bringing Google Translate will also help hehe. Have a great trip!
It was my first time in Seoul too, and I felt the same way as you! 💕 I think trying skincare products at cosmetics stores first is the best way to get acquainted. Then, if you want to experience a spa/beauty place, ask the staff at your hotel or tour guide; they'll help you find a suitable place for beginners. Don't worry about your English/Korean because they're quite friendly to tourists!
