Hello everyone! Tan here 😊 I'm planning a trip to Seoul next month, and I intend to make it a full K-beauty immersion. I've been following Korean skincare for a while, but I've never actually tried it in the country.
I wanted to ask, which districts in Seoul have a high concentration of skincare shops and aesthetic clinics? The idea is that I'd like to walk around and try out services like facials or consultations. Nothing too major, I just want the experience and to see what the pros think of my skin.
And if anyone has experience buying K-beauty products directly from Korea, is there a difference compared to buying them online? I'm interested in both price and product variety. However, I'm currently unsure about how to best allocate my budget 😅
Does anyone have any key recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help with this!

Hello! I planned my last trip to Seoul the same way. I suggest you start by exploring Myeongdong or Gangnam, as they have a lot of beauty stores and experience shops where you can take your time. My little tip is to bring a small notebook to jot down each store's assessment of your skin – it's quite interesting to compare them later 😄 As for products, there's indeed a difference between buying in-store and online. You can try colors and get consultations in person, and the prices are similar. It's mainly the experience that differs!
