Hi! I'm Kayla from the US (Pacific Northwest, if anyone else is from the west coast!). I've been lurking in this community for like a month now and finally decided to jump in because I have so many questions and you all seem genuinely helpful, not just trying to sell stuff.

So basically, I got really into skincare during the pandemic like everyone else, but then I fell down the K-beauty rabbit hole and honestly? There's something different about how Korean beauty brands approach things. I started using some products and my skin actually improved, which shocked me because I've struggled with texture and sensitivity for years. That got me curious about other treatments and procedures people talk about here, so now I'm doing research before maybe visiting Korea next year.

I'm still learning the lingo and figuring out what's hype vs. what actually works, so I'm hoping to chat with people who have real experience. Also probably have a million dumb questions ahead of time, so thanks in advance for being patient! 😅 Looking forward to getting to know you all!
