I am wondering when it is safe to have dental extractions, implants, or scaling after nose and facial surgery. Please share your experiences and tips on communication between hospitals regarding the effects of general and local anesthesia, antibiotics, and anticoagulants.
I would also appreciate it if you could tell me about signs of inflammation, the recommended duration of antibiotic use, and examples of questions to ask the hospital.

Since it varies depending on the type of surgery and recovery status, it is safest for the surgeon performing the nose/facial surgery and the dental clinic to confirm the details before tooth extraction, implants, or scaling.
Treatments are usually performed after swelling, bleeding, and inflammation have stabilized. Do not arbitrarily stop taking any antibiotics or anticoagulants you are currently taking; be sure to ask about "when dental treatment is possible, whether prophylactic antibiotics are needed, and what the risk of bleeding is."
It is best to contact the hospital immediately if you experience a sensation of fever, severe pain, pus, foul odor, or worsening swelling.
