Hey! I'm Quinn, from the US (Pacific Northwest, if anyone else is around that area). I've been lurking on this community for like a month and finally decided to jump in because you all seem so genuine and helpful!
So here's my story—I got really into Korean skincare about a year ago after my coworker came back from a trip to Seoul looking absolutely glowing. I was like "okay what are you using?" and down the rabbit hole I went lol. I started ordering stuff online and watching videos, but I realized I was kind of missing the full picture of *why* things work the way they do in Korea, and I really want to eventually visit and maybe learn more about treatments and aesthetics over there.
I'm mostly interested in skincare right now, but I'm also really curious about what people do when they're actually *in* Korea—like I know a lot of folks travel there specifically for treatments and procedures, and I'd love to understand what makes the approach so different. I'm still pretty new to all of this though, so I'm expecting to have a lot of dumb questions haha.
Looking forward to chatting with you all! Happy to share what I've learned so far too 😊

Hi! I used to feel the same way as you 😊 I saw you mentioned wanting to understand more about skincare and skincare practices in Korea. A little tip from my trip is that when you go to Seoul, try asking the staff at skincare stores because they are very helpful in explaining why each step is so important. Have a wonderful trip!
I understand! I feel the same way; after getting hooked on Korean cosmetics, I really want to go to Korea! 😄 Buying online is fun, but it's even better to ask questions and try things out in person, right? Let's learn together!
