Hi, this is Kaori! I'm planning a beauty trip to Seoul this summer, and I'm wondering where everyone usually stays? I've heard of Gangnam and Apgujeong, but what are they really like? I'd like to know which area has the most beauty clinics and dermatology clinics and is the easiest to get to.
I'm interested in facials and skin care treatments, and I think there would be more options in an area with a high concentration of clinics. Also, easy access from my accommodation is important, right? If anyone has actually been there, I'd love to hear about which area you stayed in and what it was like.
I haven't researched my budget in detail yet, but I'm hoping to stay for about a week. I'm a Seoul beginner, so I'd like to hear information geared towards foreigners and real opinions from people who have actually been there. Could anyone give me some advice?

I'm curious about this too! How many days are you planning to stay? I was a little nervous when I came to Seoul last year, but I got some good advice from my expat friends. Now I know for myself that the people are really nice, apart from the distance to the city center, the subway, etc.!
After reading your post, I'm also planning to go to a sauna. I'm currently researching which location would be best for convenient clinic access! If you find any more information, please let me know. 😊
Hi Kaori! This is my first time going to Seoul this year for a beauty trip, so I totally relate to your confusion, hehe. From what I've read on forums, the areas that are said to be most crowded with clinics are around Gangnam and Apgujeong, and the transportation access is also good because it's close to the metro. I'd also like to hear from those who have been there, what their experiences were like, and how long an ideal stay is. 😊
Kaori, how many days are you planning to stay there? I'm also considering a similar trip and would like to know how the length of my stay affects my choice of area.
Hello! I'm also planning a trip to Seoul this summer, so seeing your post is such a coincidence, haha. I've heard that Gangnam and Apgujeong have a lot of clinics and are quite convenient to get to, and I'm currently deciding which area to stay in! Looking forward to some advice from experienced ladies!
I also lived in Gangnam last summer, and I found the subway there very convenient. There are many shops within walking distance, so there's definitely a lot of choice! However, it's also very crowded, so if you prefer a quieter environment, it might be a bit tiring. I suggest checking the locations of a few clinics you're interested in first, and then choosing accommodation nearby. This will make commuting easier each day.
Kaori unnie, are you going this summer? I'm also considering going to Seoul around the same time, but I'm not sure which area to stay in that's both convenient for getting around and close to skincare clinics. Do you have any experiences, or are you still researching like me?
