Hey everyone! I'm Gita, so excited to finally be going to Seoul next month for a two-week vacation. I've been following a Korean skincare routine and really want to try it out there, but honestly, I'm still confused about where to start 😅
Does anyone have experience with aesthetic treatments or skincare clinics in the Gangnam or Myeongdong areas? I want to explore the popular treatments, but honestly, I'm nervous and want to hear from people who have tried them. Are there any worth it? The important thing is that I want a clean clinic with staff who can speak English or have a translator, because my Korean is still very basic.
Since I've lived in Jakarta, my skincare routine has been pretty good, but I'd love a deeper experience like facials or peeling treatments, which are said to be great in Korea. If anyone has any tips on local skincare products to bring home, that's great! I'm still flexible on my budget, but of course, I want something reasonable and not overspending, haha.
Has anyone been there? Share your experiences! Plus tips on how to prepare before treatment and how to care for aftercare. Thanks!

Ah, I totally understand how you feel! I'm planning to go to Seoul in a few months and almost intend to try out the same services as you 😅 I'm hoping to find something good, and I have the same concerns: communication in English and cleanliness. Looking forward to hearing about other people's experiences too!
Gita, a two-week trip to Seoul sounds wonderful! I'm also interested in skincare, and it seems you're already taking good care of your skin in Jakarta. Before getting deep tissue treatments in Seoul, are there any particular precautions you take regarding skin sensitivity? I'm also getting treatments in Korea for the first time, so I'm really worried about things like what kind of consultation there will be beforehand and whether there will be English-speaking staff.
