Hi everyone! I'm Fang, from China. I'm planning a cosmetic surgery trip to Seoul and have a few questions for those of you with experience.
I've heard there are a lot of cosmetic clinics in Gangnam and Apgujeong, but I don't know much about Seoul. Which area do you think is better? Are all the clinics concentrated there, or are there other good options elsewhere? Also, regarding accommodation, do you choose places close to the clinics? Or is convenience the main factor?
I plan to stay for about 5-7 days, mainly for consultations and some treatments. If any of you have had cosmetic procedures done in Seoul, could you share your experiences? For example, how do you plan your itinerary comfortably, or is there anything I should know in advance? I'm feeling a bit nervous going alone, so I'd appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Hi Pang! I'm a solo traveler too and totally understand your concerns, hehe. In my experience, comfortable accommodations and proximity to public transportation are more important than being super close to a clinic, because Seoul has excellent transportation, making it easy to get around. I hope your trip goes smoothly and everything goes smoothly! 💪
I understand your concerns! I went alone too. Actually, staying in a place with convenient transportation is more important than staying near the hospital, as it will make going out to buy things or take a walk much easier during your recovery period. I suggest reading Chinese travel guides and other people's experiences shared on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) beforehand; it will make you feel more at ease.
I completely understand your concerns! I also went alone, and later I found that staying in a place with convenient transportation is more important than staying near the hospital. This makes it much more comfortable to go out to buy things or take a walk during the recovery period, and you can spend more time exploring before consultations and surgery, which also helps you relax.
Hi Fang! I'm also going to Seoul alone. I'm curious if you've already decided which projects you want to do, or are you still considering it? I think it might be easier to schedule consultations once you've decided what you want to do.
