Hi everyone! I'm Chialing, and I'm planning a beauty trip to Seoul this year. Honestly, I'm quite lost about which area to stay in. I've heard from many people that Gangnam and Apgujeong have tons of cosmetic clinics, but I'm not sure if the accommodation and transportation there are really that convenient. Have any of you stayed there before and can share your experiences?
I'm mainly looking to explore some beauty treatment options and see if there are any recommended areas that are convenient for clinic visits and also comfortable to stay in. I'm also wondering if there might be good options in other areas that are just less well-known? Can anyone share their experiences? For example, about transportation, the surrounding environment, hotel choices, etc.
If any international travelers have had a beauty trip in Seoul, feel free to share how you planned your itinerary! Budget considerations, accommodation locations, how you found clinics... I'd love to hear any suggestions! Thank you all 💕

Hi! I'm also planning a similar trip and wanted to ask if you plan to consult with medical institutions online beforehand, or if you'll take your time finding one after arriving in Seoul? I'm a bit worried about language communication issues, do you have any suggestions? 😅
Hello! I'm also planning a similar trip. Have you considered areas other than Gangnam? I've heard that some places, while not as concentrated as Gangnam, might offer more convenient and affordable transportation and accommodation. I was wondering if you'd be interested in exploring more options too?
When I last visited Seoul, I also stayed in Gangnam. To be honest, the transportation was really quite convenient, with many subway stations, but the hotel prices were relatively on the higher side. I later discovered that there are actually quite a few options in the Hongdae area, and it's more youthful and vibrant, making shopping very comfortable too~ I suggest you can look at accommodations in different areas. Sometimes, moving just a little bit away from Gangnam, transportation is still convenient but it will be much cheaper!
When I last visited Seoul, I also stayed near Gangnam. The transportation was incredibly convenient; just a few minutes' walk from the subway station brought me to many clinics. Plus, there were plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby to pass the time! However, I later discovered that the Apgujeong area is also quite good. It's less crowded and feels a bit more relaxed.
