Hi, this is Kaede! I'm going on my first beauty trip to Seoul next month. I've always loved and used Korean cosmetics, but I'm so excited to try all the things I can only experience there! 😄
I'm especially interested in skincare treatments and treatments at places like dermatology clinics. I've heard they have a different approach than in Japan, and I'd love to know what kind of skincare Koreans actually do. Also, what items should I buy at drugstores, or what kind of shops cater to locals? If anyone has any expertise, I'd be happy to get some beginner-friendly advice.
Since I'm going all the way there, I'd also like to try some slightly more upscale experiences, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could share their experiences. I'd like to know about things like budget, the atmosphere of the facilities, and other realistic information. Thank you!

Hi Kaede! If anyone has been to Seoul before, do you think it's better to start small or go to a good hospital? What kind of care are you interested in? 😊
Oh Kaede, I totally get the excitement — I'm in the same boat! I've been using K-beauty products for years but I'm really curious what treatments locals actually swear by and what the vibe is like in person. If you find good info about the affordable skin clinics vs. the splurge-worthy ones, definitely come back and share! 😄
Kaede, I understand! I was thinking the same thing, and I'm planning to go to Seoul next month. Korean skincare treatments seem to be completely different from those in Japan, so I totally understand wanting to try them out. I'm a beginner too, so I'd love it if you could tell me about your experiences or recommend some drugstore items! Let's gather information together 😊
