I guess I shouldn't just buy any keycap keyring.

A while ago, I bought a cheap keycap keyring at a home decor shop because it looked cute. But when I actually tried pressing the keys, it didn't make the crisp click I was expecting; instead, it sounded really muffled and just like a spring squeaking. ㅠㅠ I found out that, just like mechanical keyboards, the switches inside are the lifeblood of a keycap keyring, so I heard that the typing feel of the cheaper ones is really poor. So, this time, I went on a frantic search for a proper keycap keyring again.

I carefully read the reviews and ordered a custom keycap keyring from a place that uses expensive switches. Wow... every time I press a key, it makes a crisp click sound just like a mechanical keyboard at an internet cafe, and it's totally therapeutic! Haha.

I buy keycap keyrings just to fiddle with my hands when they're bored, so I think it's worth the money if you buy one with a good typing feel. People around me heard the sound of my keycap keyring and went crazy asking where I bought it. Haha. Don't just buy any keycap keyring; make sure to check if it has good switches inside!
