Oh yes, I noticed this too when I was in Korea! Actually, the microfiber cloth typically used for cleaning glasses is also great for smartphone camera lenses, much safer than using your clothes. Try looking for one specifically for lens cleaning; they aren't expensive!
Are you saying to use a glasses cloth to wipe the phone lens? I'd like to try it too, but I'm worried if it might damage the lens. How did you feel about the results after using it?
