Hi, my name is Kaew. I'm planning my first trip to Seoul for beauty treatments and I'm a little confused about where to go. I've heard that Gangnam and Apjeong are good areas, but I'm not sure if they're suitable for a foreigner like me.
Regarding accommodation, I'm looking for a place close to the beauty clinic. I want to be able to walk to many different places, and I'm also looking for areas or streets with lots of fun things to do, so I can use my free time for both the cosmetic procedure and visiting different shops.
If anyone has experience in this area, could you please recommend which areas are convenient for foreigners? And if you could also recommend accommodation, I would greatly appreciate it. I'd really like advice from someone who has been there before.

I understand, Kau! I was struggling with the same thing. Qiangnan is certainly convenient, and there seems to be a lot of information for foreigners, and being able to walk around and get to various places is appealing, isn't it? I'm currently looking for a similar area myself, so I'd love to hear advice from someone with experience 😊
This was my first time in Korea too, so I understand how you feel! I noticed that the larger neighborhoods usually have many beauty salons and it's easy to find accommodation nearby, but you should probably check reviews from other foreigners online to be sure about finding a suitable location.
Hi Kaou! I also just visited Seoul for the first time last month, and I found the areas you mentioned to be really busy and easily accessible for tourists. My advice would be to try to find accommodations close to the station for easy public transportation, as there are plenty of fun things to explore while waiting for your treatment!
