Hey everyone! I'm finally making the jump and planning a trip to Seoul for some aesthetic treatments, and I'm honestly a bit overwhelmed with where to base myself. I keep seeing Gangnam and Apgujeong mentioned everywhere, but I'm not sure what the actual vibe is or if one's better than the other for someone like me who's looking to explore different clinics.
I'm curious — where did you guys stay when you went? Like, is it worth staying right in those areas, or are there other neighborhoods that are more chill but still have good access to everything? I'm trying to figure out budget-friendly options since I know Seoul can get pricey depending on where you book.
Also, any tips on which areas felt safer or more tourist-friendly as a foreigner? I'll probably want to explore a bit between appointments and just get a feel for the city. Would love to hear about your favorite spots or neighborhoods that surprised you! Has anyone found good spots for recovery time that aren't just sitting in your hotel room? 😅

Oh, I wondered the same thing! But now I choose to stay in areas that aren't just the popular, recommended spots because I don't want to be in the crowds. When I went, I found that central city areas were better because they were convenient for walking around, and the hostel prices weren't too expensive. As for safety, don't worry about it. Thai people can go to any city without worry. And to feel more secure, try asking someone who's been there before. That will give you more peace of mind. 😊
