I've been to a dermatology clinic in Namyangju, but it's still ongoing.
I'm posting this out of sheer frustration because there's no end in sight to my skin troubles..
Since moving to Dasan New Town, I've been under a lot of stress adjusting to the new environment, and suddenly, sebum on my cheeks and forehead started exploding. I was cleaning the house when I saw my reflection in the window and was shocked by how greasy it was. On top of that, cystic acne started popping up on my chin, making me feel self-conscious every time I ran into new neighbors. I used ointments and medicine from a dermatology clinic in Namyangju for over a month, but as soon as I stopped, the sebum came back immediately. I also visited other clinics in Namyangju and tried laser treatments and extractions, but it was clean only for that day, and then it became greasy again the following week.
Lately, my cheeks have been red and feel dry, so I mentioned it to the doctor. They said it might be an overlapping reaction to atopic dermatitis. Trying to tackle sebum, acne, and atopic dermatitis all at once, just going to a dermatology clinic in Namyangju doesn't seem to be working. It works... If anyone who has struggled similarly has found an effective method, please feel free to let me know :)

My routine was completely disrupted while I was settling into my new neighborhood and going to a dermatologist in Namyangju. My sebum production exploded, causing acne to spread all over my face and even leading to hyperpigmentation. I really don't want to leave my new neighborhood anymore.
I can really relate to having your routine disrupted while moving... I felt a pang of guilt reading about how upset you must have been to even develop hyperpigmentation.
Wow... I'm leaving a comment because you sound exactly like me 4 months ago, debating whether or not to go to a dermatologist in Namyangju..!! I had a similar experience, and even though I changed my ointments, medications, and cosmetics, my skin ended up breaking out even more ㅠ Then, a pharmacist friend gave me Cretinon tablets, and I barely managed to recover ㅜㅜ
I'm having the same problem... Do I need to get a separate prescription for Cretinon?
I think I've heard of it... by any chance, were there any side effects?
When I asked, they told me that you don't need a separate prescription for Cretinon tablets.. haha. They said it's originally an overseas product, but since they started producing it domestically, it has become available for purchase online!
I took it for about a month and saw my symptoms improve, so I've been taking it for about four months now, and it's been fine! Haha. Maybe it's because of the patented skin care ingredients, but I don't seem to have any side effects! Hmm... I'll share a photo from after taking it for a month for reference~
