I keep seeing Gangnam and Apgujeong mentioned everywhere — like, are these the main hubs for foreigners doing beauty stuff? I'm curious what the vibe is actually like, because I want to stay somewhere convenient but not crazy touristy if that makes sense. Also wondering if anyone has recommendations on which areas feel safest and most accessible when you don't speak Korean fluently.

I'm thinking about staying for maybe 5-7 days. Has anyone else done a beauty-focused trip like this? Did you pick a specific neighborhood to base yourself in, or did you bounce around?
