Hi everyone! So I've been thinking about getting a procedure done and I keep going back and forth on whether to do it here in the US or take the plunge and come to Korea. Part of me is like, why travel when I can just go somewhere local? But then I keep hearing about how the techniques and aftercare culture are different over there, and I'm genuinely curious how other people made this call.
I guess my main hesitation is like... the logistics? Flying, recovery time away from home, the language barrier even though I can get by. But at the same time, a lot of what I've read about K-beauty treatments seems really thoughtful and detailed, and I'm wondering if that's worth the effort. Has anyone else been in this headspace?
For those of you who went to Korea for something—did you regret the travel aspect, or did you feel like it was totally worth it? And how did you figure out if the cost actually made sense when you factor in flights and accommodation? I'm not even sure what my budget should realistically be at this point, so any thoughts would help me stop going in circles 😅
