Hey everyone, so I've been thinking about doing a procedure while I'm in Korea and I'm honestly feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out the logistics and costs. I've never done anything like this before, so I'm not even sure where to start with budgeting.
I'm trying to figure out: How many days should I actually plan to be there? Like, do you need a few days before the procedure to settle in, then recovery time after? I'm guessing flights, accommodation, and the procedure itself are the big expenses, but I have no idea how to realistically estimate what I'm looking at overall. Has anyone done this who could share how they approached the planning?
Also, I'm wondering if there's a sweet spot for timing—like, is there a season that's cheaper for flights, or does it not really matter? And how long did you stay in total? I want to give myself enough time to feel okay before flying back, but I also don't want to blow my budget on extra hotel nights if I don't need them.
I'm not looking for specific price quotes or anything (I know that varies so much), but just some general advice on how to think through this whole trip would help so much. Anyone been through this process?
