Hey everyone, I'm kind of stuck between two options and would love to hear how others have thought through this. I've been considering getting a aesthetic procedure done, and I have the chance to do it either back in the US or while I'm visiting Korea. Both seem like reasonable choices, but I'm honestly torn.
The Korea option is tempting because I've read so much about the expertise here and the approach to aesthetics in general just seems different. But then there's the whole thing of recovery time, follow-up care, and doing it far from home. Plus I'm not totally sure about the logistics of consultations or how the whole process works across language barriers, even though my Korean is getting better.
On the flip side, doing it at home means my regular doctors know my medical history, I won't have jet lag during recovery, and any complications are easier to handle. But I'm also wondering if I'm missing out on something by not exploring options here while I have the chance.
Has anyone else been in this position? What made you choose one way or the other? I'm trying to be practical about it but also not overthink things. Any perspective would help!
