hi everyone, so i've been thinking about doing a procedure in korea for a while now, and i'm finally getting serious about it. but honestly? i'm feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to figure out the money side of things, not just the procedure itself but the whole trip.

i'm trying to figure out how many days i'd actually need to be there. like, is it realistic to fly out, get the procedure done, and come back in a week? two weeks? i imagine there's downtime involved depending on what you're getting done, and i don't want to underestimate that. also, how much buffer time do people usually build in before flying back, just to make sure everything's healing okay?

as for the overall budget, i'm struggling to even know where to start. flights from the US aren't cheap, and then there's accommodation, food, transport around the city... i don't even know if i should be looking at hotels or if anyone does longer stays somewhere cheaper? has anyone who's done this before found a way to make it more affordable without just, like, roughing it the whole time? i'm not looking for specific prices since i know those change, but just wondering how people generally approach the financial planning part so you're not blindsided.
