Hi everyone, I'm Hong. I've been thinking recently about whether I should go to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've consulted with a few places in China, but I've heard that Korean aesthetics and techniques might be a better fit for the results I'm looking for, plus many people online share their experiences of getting it done in Korea. To be honest though, I'm a bit conflicted – flying all the way there, needing to take time off work, booking hotels, and staying there during recovery, all these costs add up significantly.

I wanted to ask if anyone has traveled from China to Seoul for this procedure? Do you think the trip was worth it? My biggest concern is, is the difference in results between getting it done in China and going to Korea really that significant? Or is it mainly about differing psychological expectations? Also, if I decide to go, do I need to book appointments far in advance, or is on-site consultation also an option?

My current thought is to do more research first, perhaps schedule an online consultation to get some information, but I'm still very keen to hear from people with actual experiences. Is anyone willing to share how they made their decision? For example, how did you choose between going or getting it done domestically?
