Hi everyone! So I'm planning to get a small procedure done while I'm in Korea next month, and I'll be flying back to the US like 4-5 days after. I know there's going to be some swelling, and I'm honestly a bit nervous about managing it on a long flight and once I get home.
Does anyone have tips on what to actually pack in my luggage for aftercare? I'm thinking ice packs (the reusable kind?), compression stuff, maybe some calming products? I'm also wondering if there are specific Korean skincare items that are good for post-procedure recovery that I should grab before I leave. Like, are there certain product types that are actually helpful, or is it mostly just keeping things simple and moisturized?
Also—real talk—has anyone flown internationally with swelling? How bad was it, and did anything actually help on the plane itself? I'm trying to be realistic about what to expect. Any advice would be super appreciated!
