Hey everyone, I'm seriously considering making the trip from the US to Seoul for a double eyelid procedure, but I'm trying to figure out if it actually makes sense logistically. Like, the costs might be lower overall, but then there's flights, accommodation, time off work... I'm not even sure if that actually saves money in the end?
I've been researching clinics and reading about people's experiences, and there seem to be a lot of options in Seoul with good reputations. But I'm also nervous about the aftercare part—what if something feels off and I'm back home already? Plus the language barrier, even though I know many places have English-speaking staff. Has anyone here actually done this? I'd love to know if the quality difference is really noticeable enough to justify the whole international trip.
I'm also wondering how much time I'd actually need to spend there. Obviously the procedure itself is quick, but recovery is the real question. How long did people stay before heading back? And did you feel comfortable flying after a few days, or did you need longer? Any honest takes would help me actually figure out if this is realistic or if I should just explore options closer to home.
