Hey everyone, so I've been thinking seriously about coming to Korea for a procedure I've been wanting, but I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed about the logistics and costs. I'm trying to figure out how much time I'd actually need to take off work, and whether I should budget for extra days just to recover and not rush back to the States feeling awful. Has anyone done this before and can share how they broke down the costs in their head?
I'm also not sure about the whole timeline thing — like, do you need multiple visits before a procedure, or follow-up appointments? And how long is recovery usually? I'm imagining flights, a hotel for at least a week or so, the procedure itself (which I haven't even started researching specific places yet), and then hopefully some time to actually enjoy Seoul while I'm healing. It sounds expensive when I list it all out like that, and I'm getting a little anxious about whether it's even realistic for me right now.
Any tips on how you budgeted for this kind of trip, or whether I should just save up longer? I'm not even sure what the general ballpark should be. Also, if anyone has experience with the recovery period and what you can actually do during that time, I'd love to hear about it. I want to be realistic about what I'm getting into before I commit to anything!
