Thinking about double eyelid surgery in Seoul, but is it worth it coming from Indonesia?

Hello everyone! So I've been thinking about going to Seoul for eyelid surgery. I've wanted a more natural and beautiful result for a long time, and from what I've read, Korea is indeed famous for its subtle eye procedures. But what makes me hesitate is whether it's worth traveling all the way from Indonesia... there are costs for flights, hotels, plus the procedure itself. Has anyone else considered the same thing?

What I want to know is, how can I choose safely, especially from afar? I want to consult first before committing, but it's difficult to do a video call from here. Plus, I'm also worried about follow-up and aftercare—if there are any issues, what happens if I've already returned to Indonesia?

Can anyone share their experiences on how they chose and planned for procedures abroad? Or perhaps some feel it's safer to just work with a doctor in Indonesia? I'm really torn between the quality of the results and the convenience. Thanks in advance! 🙏
