I'm planning to get LASIK surgery this time. Do you know what the average cost is?

I think it would be good to know the general idea beforehand before going for a consultation... so I'm posting this.

Those of you who have had LASIK... please share roughly how much it cost.

But I suppose I won't know the average cost until I actually go for a consultation, right...?
