Hi everyone, I'm planning to get a minor skin treatment in Korea next week, but the problem is I have to fly back home the following week. I've heard there will be some swelling and redness, so I'd like to do some research beforehand.
Has anyone flown so soon after the procedure? What skincare products should I bring back? I've heard cold compresses are important, but how do I handle it during the flight? Also, is the dry environment on the plane particularly bad for freshly treated skin?
Another question is, how long does it generally take for the swelling to subside? I'm worried about going to work with a swollen face when I get back home 😅. Does anyone have any experiences to share? What products or tips are particularly helpful for reducing swelling? I have sensitive skin, so I'm also a little worried about choosing the wrong skincare products.
Thank you for your advice!

I had a similar experience; I was quite worried about flying after the procedure 😅 I think your worry is completely understandable, especially with sensitive skin like yours. I hope those of you with experience will share more tips on moisturizing on the plane because I also want to know the most appropriate way to handle this situation.
I was thinking of doing the same thing! I have to fly back to Thailand in a few days after that 😅 I'm not sure how I'll manage the swelling and dryness on the plane. Thanks for asking, it's great to get some advice from someone who's been through it!
I was just as worried as you were! I've heard many people say that your body swells up more when flying, so it's good that you're mentally prepared 😅 I've heard that drinking plenty of water, avoiding salty foods, and bringing gentle skincare products are key, but everyone's skin is different, so you could ask other people what they use for their sensitive skin.
