My ingrown toenail is currently progressing. At this stage, do I really need surgery?
Both my husband and I tend to have our big toenails dig into the flesh. Lately, the feeling of pressure every time we walk is becoming increasingly bothersome.
I looked it up and saw that surgery is necessary if it is severe. However, I've heard that the anesthesia is incredibly painful and that it is difficult to walk for several days afterward, so I'm terrified of even going to the hospital.
I can manage for now, but I'm worried that if I keep holding out and get an infection or pus, surgery might really be the only solution then.
Has anyone tried treatments at a care shop or corrective care for ingrown toenails instead of surgery?

Wow, it's dug in much more than I thought...??
I actually got it corrected at a skin care shop.
I was planning to go to the shop first, and if they said it couldn't be fixed, I was considering surgery.
Fortunately, it wasn't filled with pus or anything; it was just digging in,
so they told me it could be sufficiently treated with just skin care!
Is it possible to correct ingrown toenails at a beauty salon?
I thought I absolutely had to go to a hospital and have surgery. I'm curious about how the treatment process works.
The process involved first checking the direction of the ingrown toenail, trimming the pressure points, and then proceeding with the correction.
Before starting the correction, they use a machine called an AI Pedicure Scan to analyze the angle and tilt, and then calculate the procedure precisely. So, it was definitely comfortable.
Oh... that's fascinating.
You even look into things like that when correcting ingrown toenails?
I thought they just looked at it and roughly adjusted it.
It's more professional than I expected.
By the way, where did you go? I'm curious.
I used to go to the Error Perfect Seohyeon branch.
I heard the Suwon branch was recently featured on VJ Special Forces Returns?
If you're curious, you should check it out~ The correction process is really fascinating to watch.
If you and your husband both have ingrown toenails,
I think we should check both of your toenail trimming habits and the shoes you wear.
They say cutting them in a rounded shape makes them dig in even more.
Huh? We both tend to cut our toenails a bit short and rounded.
I think the best time to manage ingrown toenails is when they are bearable.
I had surgery, and I went through hell during the anesthesia...
I never want to go through that again...
Hearing that, I feel like I shouldn't delay it any longer...
